Shenzhen, China, October 26, 2022 -- MGI and MAERSK China singed a strategic partnership agreement aiming to build a global supply chain system to support MGI's global business.

Mr. Zhang Zhongping, Sales Director of Tech & Electronics at Maersk China, and Mr. Liu Jian, Executive Vice President of MGI, signed the agreement on behalf of each party.

As one of the few companies in the world that can independently develop and mass-produce clinical high-throughput genetic sequencers, MGI is committed to providing customers and users with advanced genetic sequencing instruments. Founded in 2016, MGI operates in more than 80 countries and regions, serving more than 1,300 customers. It has established scientific research and production bases, global training and service network in many countries and regions around the world.

In recent years, MGI has been working with MAERSK China in the fields such as air transportation, sea transportation, multimodal transportation, inland transport services, overseas warehousing, and distribution services.

Based on the strategic partnership agreement, both parties plan to carry out more extensive cooperation on logistics and supply chain, combining their respective advantages in resources and network for mutual benefits. MGI and MAERSK China will also explore further cooperation opportunities in sea transportation services, cold-chain logistics, overseas storage, customs clearance and related consulting services, as well as low-carbon transportation and digital solutions at a critical period when external opportunities and challenges coexist.
