ISO/IEC 27001 is an internationally recognized standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), reflecting advanced practices in information security management and is widely adopted across industries worldwide. The ISO/IEC 27701 certification, an extension of ISO/IEC 27001, introduces additional requirements focused on privacy protection, integrating principles and methodologies to help organizations better safeguard personal privacy.
